the comment: 23 Weeks Update+Baby Kicks & Belly Shot

23 Weeks Update+Baby Kicks I had these same boots a few years ago and they lasted two years before the sole had worn out. The boots still had no rips and did not leak water. Every other boot I have had has lasted one year and then has a huge hole in the toe. I still wear my old carharrt boots to cut wood because they are so comfortable. Do not let the price fool you, these boots are the best you will get. My chippewa's only lasted a year, and the last pair I bought were carolina's, they made it six months and were so miserable to wear that I was glad to see them rip.

This is a great running shell! I am an amateur runner- about 15 miles a week - and I run along the beach, often with significant wind. I am cold by nature but with this shell and a base layer I have been very comfortable running in 40 degree weather with wind. The vents in the back keep you at just the right temperature. There is no question you will be visible- day-glo does not do this color justice (I bought the orange) but in the end it's all about safety on the road so I am ok with the bright color. The sizing seems right on - I am 5'-4" size 4-6 and the small fits perfectly. There is enough room to freely move but not so much fabric that it gets in your way. Love the mp3 pocket and the LED safety light. I love the shell so much I may buy another, 1 size up for colder weather when I want to wear an additional layer below.

23 Weeks Update+Baby Kicks A few months ago I purchased these boots because I ride a scooter and ankle protection is a must. I have purchased the same style as shoes and although very Rockport comfortable they just did not provide the needed protection. These boots bought the whole package together and are comfortable to the point that I may wear them all day long and not notice. When riding they grip the road well when I come to a stop and need to put my foot/feet down. Some reviewers point out they are not water resistant. I couldn't tell you because I just do not use them in such a way as to try their water resistance. Because of the materials used they are not the coolest shoes you can wear, especially stuck in traffic in South Florida weather but given the alternative heavy boots I would rather wear my Rockports!Overall very comfortable but a bit hot.
